162 people died because of
malaria in the last three months.
From East Africa in Uganda
in the last three months, most including women and children, it was reported
that 162 people lost their lives due to malaria.
The Director of health
services, Jane Ruth Aceng, said in a statement 10 in the north of the country
the malaria epidemic in the region started about three months ago that
continues to take the lives of stressed.
So far 22 thousand people
has been diagnosed as malaria, noting that Aceng, "the most heavily
affected region, Kitgum. 382 5 thousand people in the city where 22 people died
because of malaria, was hospitalized," he said.
The Ministry of Health
pointed out by the Delegation of experts take control of the epidemic Aceng,
the Ministry also noted that drug and sent thousands of units in the region.

Data from the World Health
Organization (WHO), malaria in sub-Saharan Africa is regarded as one of the
most deadly diseases in the region. 198 million malaria cases in 2013 were
found 584 thousand of them ended in death. 437 thousand of the children of the
deceased were found.
